Pullmantur Air
Pullmantur Air formerly written as Air Pullmantur is a charter airline based in Madrid, Spain. It operates long-haul services to several Caribbean destinations and feeder services for Pullmantur Cruises to Scandinavia from its main base Madrid Barajas International Airport[1]. It currently flies over 400,000 passengers annually.[2]
History
The airline was established in 2003 and started operations on June 23, 2003 with an inaugural flight to Cancun, Mexico, from Madrid with a Boeing 747.[3] It was wholly owned by Grupo Marsans prior to its sale to Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. in November 2006 [3]. It has 53 employees (as of March 2007)[1].
